Hosting the Zero Food Waste - Moon Festival Gift Box Sale for Two Consecutive Years: Creating a Virtuous Cycle with Stakeholders
In Moon Festival season, the warm atmosphere arrives with mooncakes and gift boxes, which are heartfelt blessings from our clients and friends.
In response to the concepts of healthy eating, zero food waste, and a circular economy, we once again organized an internal gift box sale this year, collaborating with clients and suppliers to spread the seasonal blessings. This initiative also enabled our colleagues to purchase good-quality products at affordable prices. A total of NT$34,220 was raised in this sale, and along with proceeds from the New Year's charity sale and donations from our entertainment room, a total of NT$45,000 was donated to 3 charities. We wish these donations help bring warmth to those in need during the festive season.
In addition, some fruit baskets were shared with those in Wutai after- school base, the Wanhua Dashuigou 2nd hand shop, and our beach cleanup partner, hiinstudio, to express our gratitude for their continues dedication to the society.
