When a butterfly flaps its wings, it might trigger a tornado a month later; When people start prioritizing environmental protection, sustainability becomes more achievable than just a dinner talk.
In recent years, Shih Wei Navigation has been participating in beach cleanup activities. For safety reason, such as adverse weather and challenging terrains, only an "elite team" of selected volunteers fit for the mission. Although we have consistently broken records for the amount of waste removed each year, not all Shih Wei members have had the opportunity to experience the joy of this meaningful work. Therefore, this year, we decided to be " Plastic but Artistic " together!
The idea was to be based on a photo outline from Shih Wei’s Seafarers Photo Contest then divided it into four sections. Join hands with all staff, we use the collection of waste materials to create a mosaic. At first, we were deeply concerned because the pieces seemed unclear. However, once the pieces were assembled, all doubts vanished. This also symbolizes that while an individual's strength may be small, when we unite, we can create something truly magnificent.
Ultimately, the " Plastic but Artistic " is now displayed on the wall of Dancewoods Hotel and Resorts. Through this initiative, we hope to show others that with determination, everyone can become an artist of environmental sustainability.
