Shih Wei Navigation Joins DryBMS (Dry Bulk Management Standard) Portal Membership

After becoming a member of the International Association of Dry Cargo Shipowners (Intercargo), Shih Wei Navigation further led the industry by joining the DryBMS (Dry Bulk Management Standard) Portal, aiming to enhance bulk carrier safety and operational standards through comprehensive high standards.

Jointly developed by Intercargo and RightShip in 2021, DryBMS provides a broad evaluation framework that extends beyond RightShip’s inspection criteria. Since this standard allows evaluations based on reports submitted by shipowners, joining as a member enables the company to more effectively manage RightShip's inspection processes and elevate its operational safety.

Additionally, the system not only includes built-in guidance but also supports self-assessment and data sharing for shipowners, offering positive impacts for both shipowners and users. Despite being in its promotion stage, Shih Wei has taken the initiative to join, aiming to establish a more sustainable and robust path forward.
